Liverpool eyes Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara

Liverpool FC is reportedly monitoring AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara as a potential target for future transfer windows. The 22-year-old French midfielder has gained attention for his performances in Ligue 1, where he recorded three goals and four assists in 31 matches last season.

Reports indicate that a previously nearly completed transfer to Chelsea FC collapsed during the final 30 minutes of the transfer window. While Chelsea had reportedly reached a €55 million agreement with Monaco and the player had verbally accepted a contract, Monaco ultimately decided to retain the player.

Liverpool has reportedly contacted the player's representatives and Monaco to signal that Camara remains a priority target, specifically eyeing a move in 2027. While a January transfer is not entirely ruled out, Monaco is expected to seek a higher fee than the €55 million previously discussed with Chelsea.
