In Paraguay, Agroganadera Pukavy is scheduled to hold a Brangus genetics auction on August 21 at the Jardines del Rodeo. Managed by El Rodeo Consignataria, the sale features animals selected for functional adaptation to demanding production environments, including in vitro fertilized heifers, premium heifers, and selected bulls.
In the Plaza Rural auction, a high volume of cattle was moved, with 7,918 head sold, representing 99.19% of the total offer. Prices showed upward trends across various categories. Light calves under 140 kg reached a maximum of US$ 5.24, while larger calves over 180 kg averaged US$ 4.17. The auction continues with the sale of sheep breeding stock and pregnant heifers.
