Livestock exhibitions scheduled in Colombia and Argentina

Regional livestock sectors in Colombia and Argentina are hosting major agricultural exhibitions to showcase bovine genetics and discuss industry challenges.

In Cajicá, Colombia, the ‘Expo Elite Ganadera’ will take place from October 16 to 18 at Rancho MX. The event focuses on Angus, Brangus, and Simmental breeds, marking the 30th anniversary of the first two breeds in the country. The program includes academic sessions, animal judging, and family activities such as equestrian shows and live music.

In Esquel, Argentina, the 49th Expo Bovina is scheduled from October 8 to 11. The event features animal exhibitions, breed judging, and cultural activities. A key component of the fair is a session titled ‘Let’s talk about credits together for the livestock sector,’ aimed at providing producers with information on financing tools and economic challenges facing the industry.
