Lizzy Caplan joins Ubisoft's Far Cry TV series on FX

FX announced an anthology television adaptation of Ubisoft's Far Cry video‑game franchise. The project is being overseen by showrunners Noah Hawley, known for Fargo, and Rob McElhenney. Actress Lizzy Caplan has been added to the cast, becoming the first named performer beyond McElhenney.

Hawley's earlier comments that video‑games are poorly suited for drama prompted criticism from Ubisoft developers, including Far Cry 4 director Alex Hutchinson, who warned the adaptation must respect the games' storytelling. No premiere date has been set and production is still pending.
