LKBN ANTARA strengthens media cooperation in China ahead of APEC 2026

LKBN ANTARA participated in the Asia-Pacific Media Forum (APMF) held in Shenzhen, China, as part of preparations for the 2026 APEC Summit. The forum, organized by the Chinese government, brought together approximately 400 representatives from 40 countries and 220 mainstream media outlets to discuss media consensus and action for regional prosperity.

Virgandhi Prayudantoro, Director of News at LKBN ANTARA, noted that the agency is focused on media transformation, specifically regarding AI adaptation and maintaining accuracy amidst rapid information flow. During the forum, Prayudantoro also held a separate meeting with Xinhua Deputy Director Xi Yanchun to discuss media cooperation.
