Lào Cai police penalize drivers for traffic violations

Traffic police in Lào Cai province have issued penalties to two drivers for various traffic violations.

A bus driver, identified as T. V. S., was fined 19 million VND and received a 4-point deduction on his driver's license after being caught running a red light. The violation was identified through images and information provided by local citizens.

In a separate incident, a truck driver named C. P. T. was penalized 26 million VND for failing to comply with police signals and driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver's vehicle was also impounded for seven working days following the inspection on Highway 70.
