Local Action Groups in Poland launch community and youth development grants
Local Action Groups (LGD) in Poland are implementing community development projects funded by the European Social Fund Plus (EFS+).
LGD Cieszyńska Kraina has announced a call for grant applications aimed at social integration and the activation of local communities. The initiative focuses on supporting individuals at risk of poverty and social exclusion, specifically targeting children and the elderly. This project is part of the Local Development Strategy for 2023–2027, co-financed by the European Funds for Silesia 2021–2027 program.
In a separate initiative, LGD Dorzecza Zgłowiączki has concluded a competition to support youth through educational clubs. Sixteen projects were selected for funding, totaling nearly 1,550,000 PLN. These projects, supported by the European Funds for Kuyavian-Pomeranian 2021–2027, aim to foster physical, intellectual, and social development, as well as civic education and local identity among youth in the Włocławek district.
