Local administrative and transport developments in Poland

Administrative proceedings have been reopened in Płóczki Górne regarding a planned renewable energy installation. The project involves building facilities covering up to 3.03 hectares, including necessary technical infrastructure. While a decision was previously issued in February 2023 stating that an environmental impact assessment was not required, the proceedings were restarted following a request from one of the parties. Local authorities have gathered sufficient evidence to reach a decision, and parties involved have seven days to review the materials and submit statements.

In Bochnia, the City Council rejected a proposal by Deputy Mayor Filip Pach to postpone discussions on public transport modernization until September. The administration argued that an external analysis regarding route changes, frequency, and electric bus infrastructure is still being finalized. However, council members voted against the delay, demanding concrete operational documents and specific data on bus numbers and schedules rather than general development visions.
