Local anniversaries celebrated in Paquisha and Policabimas

The canton of Paquisha, Ecuador, marked its 24th anniversary of political emancipation with a series of civic, sporting, and artistic events. The celebrations included a popular and religious parade, a solemn session at the GAD Paquisha auditorium, and the distribution of institutional vehicles. Mayor Paul Rodríguez presented a management report during the session, where several local figures and institutions received recognition for their contributions to the region's development. The festivities concluded with an ecuavóley tournament and musical performances.

In Cabimas, Venezuela, the municipal police force, Policabimas, celebrated its 30th anniversary. The commemorative program featured a Thanksgiving Mass, a floral offering at Plaza Bolívar Bicentenaria, and a special session at the Javier Fernández Municipal Theater. During the session, the Municipal Council presented a total reform of the Policabimas ordinance and established the Cruz del Instituto Autónomo de la Policía del Municipio Cabimas decoration.
