In Leiden, the second edition of the Dutch Camel Race Championship (NK Kamelenrace) took place at the Steenschuur. Bente Nauta won the children's category, while Alex van der Sluis won the individual category. The team ‘Vallen bast en mollen raar’ from Schagen secured the team victory. The event, which originated from the Leiden fair, involves a game where players move camels forward by aiming balls into specific holes on a game board.
