Local concerts featuring Gerasimos Andreatos and Kateryna Tasiopoulou set for Greek villages
A free concert headlined by veteran singer Gerasimos Andreatos will be held on 8 August in the square of Xylia (Χουλιαράδες), northern Epirus. Organized by the Municipality of North Jumerkoi and local cultural groups, the event will include performances by Vasilis Kontogiannis and a supporting band of bouzouki, guitar and piano players.
The following day, a second free summer event will take place on 25 July in the town square of Farsala. The program, titled “Στου Φεγγαριού τις Μουσικές”, features singer Kateryna Tasiopoulou together with three experienced musicians from Larissa, presenting a mix of entechno, folk and rebetiko songs. Both concerts are part of the municipalities' seasonal cultural programmes aimed at promoting local heritage and attracting visitors from Epirus, Thessaly and beyond.
