Local disputes arise in Valencian Community towns

Various local issues have emerged in the Valencian Community. In Sagunt, political tension has risen following the use of an AI-generated poster for a medieval market that featured an incorrect version of the 'senyera' flag. Members of the Compromís party condemned the error and demanded its immediate removal, while also criticizing the local government for perceived failures in promoting the Valencian language.

In the neighborhood of Ciutat Vella in Sagunt, residents have protested temporary parking restrictions near the Roman Theatre. Local community leaders claim the restrictions, implemented to facilitate preparations for the 'Falleras Mayores de Sagunt' celebrations, were unnecessary and lacked prior dialogue with the neighborhood.

Meanwhile, in La Granja de la Costera, residents voted to maintain the traditional 24-hour ringing of church bells. The issue arose after a new resident filed a noise complaint regarding nighttime bell ringing, leading the mayor to temporarily suspend the practice. A binding vote saw 84 residents in favor of maintaining the tradition against 20 who sought to restrict it to daytime hours.
