Local ecological initiatives held in Racibórz and Radomsko

Various ecological education and biodiversity projects were recently conducted in Poland. In Racibórz, the second edition of the ‘EKO WARS – Return of the Crocus’ event saw primary school students plant 5,000 crocus bulbs at the Arboretum Bramy Morawskiej. The competition focused on proper planting techniques to promote local biodiversity and community value.

In Radomsko, the third edition of the ‘ERA Eko’ competition engaged over 110 students in environmental awareness. The event included a knowledge test covering air protection, waste management, and local landscape values, alongside a photography contest titled ‘Beauty of the Nature of Radomsko County’. Participants also took part in an educational walk led by environmental officials to learn about local flora.
