Local educational and social initiatives announced in Italy

The Baldessano Roccati school complex in Carmagnola has announced its Open Day schedule to assist middle school students and families with enrollment for the 2027-2028 academic year. The first session, dedicated to high schools, will take place on October 17 from 9:00 to 12:30. This event allows prospective students to visit laboratories and meet faculty. Subsequent orientation dates are scheduled for November 14, December 12, and January 16, 2027, covering technical and professional tracks.

In Azzano Decimo, the Polo Sociale will host the ‘Stanza della Dispercezione’ from October 23 to 25. Organized by the Itaca social cooperative, this immersive multisensory experience is designed to simulate the perceptual and cognitive alterations associated with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The initiative aims to increase awareness among caregivers, professionals, and the public regarding the daily challenges faced by those with cognitive decline. The program begins with a public meeting titled ‘La cura nelle demenze’ on October 23.
