Local emergency services receive equipment and training in Venezuela and Argentina

In the Francisco Linares Alcántara municipality of Venezuela, Mayor Víctor Bravo provided new uniforms to the Civil Protection personnel. The initiative included the delivery of Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (EDAN) certificates to staff members to enhance their ability to identify and value the impact of adverse events and determine priority requirements for community assistance.

In Oberá, Argentina, the IPESMI Superior nursing program conducted an inter-institutional simulation of a road accident involving multiple victims. Organized as part of the Emergencies and Catastrophes seminar, the drill involved various security and emergency response institutions to strengthen the practical competencies of health professionals and improve coordination between local emergency services.
