Local government initiatives in Guarujá and São Sebastião

The City of Guarujá will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 27, to discuss proposals for the revision of the Sustainable Territorial Development Master Plan (PDDST). Coordinated by the Municipal Secretariat of Strategic Planning (Seplan), the meeting aims to establish urban growth guidelines regarding land use, infrastructure, environmental protection, and economic development. Mayor Farid Madi emphasized that public participation is essential to ensure urban planning reflects the actual needs of the population.

In São Sebastião, the City Hall and the Center for Integration of School-Enterprise (CIEE) are launching actions to expand employment opportunities for local youth. On October 29, a morning session will meet with local entrepreneurs to discuss hiring solutions, such as the Young Apprentice program and the High School Internship Stipend Program (BEEM). In the afternoon, individuals aged 14 and older can register their resumes at the Worker Service Station (PAT) in the Vila Amélia neighborhood.
