Local infrastructure projects underway in Kepez and Söke

In Kepez, Mayor Mesut Kocagöz has inspected ongoing asphalt works in the Çankaya neighborhood. The project, valued at 15 million TL, involves paving approximately 1,850 meters of road across Mimar Turgut Cansever and Ali Uyaroğlu streets. The works utilize 4,750 tons of hot asphalt to cover nearly 20,000 square meters, following the completion of necessary infrastructure. Kocagöz also noted that social projects, including a nursery and community center, are ready for the neighborhood.

In Söke, Anahtar Party member Recep Tuncel has called for greater transparency regarding a 40 million TL investment in paving works. While acknowledging the importance of social spaces like the Millet Bahçesi project, Tuncel requested a clear timeline and detailed financial disclosures. He emphasized that citizens have a right to know the specific breakdown of municipal budget expenditures, tender details, and the involvement of various institutions in these public investments.
