Urban development and infrastructure in Söke

Overview

In Söke, local authorities have initiated urban transformation projects in the historic Kemalpaşa neighborhood. Led by Mayor Dr. Mustafa İberya Arıkan, the initiative aims to revitalize the area for tourism and gastronomy through the restoration of historical buildings, such as the Gravas Evi, and the establishment of an organic product market.

As infrastructure and investment efforts continue, political scrutiny has emerged regarding municipal spending. Recep Tuncel of the Anahtar Party has called for increased transparency concerning a 40 million TL investment in paving works, requesting detailed financial disclosures and timelines for public expenditures.
