Local municipalities implement infrastructure and service improvements

Local municipalities in Turkey are implementing various strategies to improve public services and infrastructure.

In Bozdoğan, Mayor Mustafa Galip Özel is focusing on a model of resource efficiency and production. The municipality aims to use savings from cost-cutting and in-house production to fund services across 55 neighborhoods. Recent projects include over 200,000 square meters of paving stone installation, maintenance of hundreds of kilometers of rural roads, and the renovation of social facilities such as Atatürk Park and Madran Restaurant.

In Mustafapaşa, Mayor Mustafa Özer is working to rebuild the municipality's capacity following its regained status as a town. Efforts are focused on strengthening staff structures and upgrading equipment to address issues accumulated over the last decade. The municipality recently added a new backhoe loader to its fleet to assist with infrastructure, landscaping, and roadwork.
