Bozdoğan Municipality service and infrastructure development
Overview
Bozdoğan Municipality has focused on expanding social support and infrastructure through various local initiatives. Initially, the municipality emphasized direct assistance to vulnerable populations via its ‘Belediyen Yanında’ (Your Municipality is by Your Side) unit. This program provided medical supplies, such as hospital beds and wheelchairs, alongside home cleaning and personal care services for elderly and disadvantaged residents.
Following these social efforts, the municipality has moved toward a model of resource efficiency and production to fund broader improvements. Current projects include large-scale paving stone installation, rural road maintenance, and the renovation of social facilities. Mayor Mustafa Galip Özel has indicated that savings from cost-cutting and in-house production are being utilized to support services across 55 neighborhoods.
