Local officials launch reforestation and infrastructure initiatives in Mexico

In Camargo, Mayor Jorge Aldana Aguilar announced that the municipal government has secured specialized 'Jet Patcher' machinery from the State Secretariat of Public Works. The equipment is scheduled to begin road repair and pothole filling operations this week to improve local street conditions.

In Piedras Negras, local deputy Guillermo “Memo” Ruiz Guerra is leading a reforestation campaign with a goal of planting over 1,000 trees during November. The initiative focuses on educational institutions, including the Francisco Cárdenas Carranza and Presidente Francisco I. Madero schools, to promote environmental awareness among students.
