Local social mobility and assistance initiatives launched in Italy

Two separate social support initiatives have been launched in Italy to assist vulnerable populations.

In Avetrana, BCC Avetrana has donated a new minibus to Caritas to bolster its Pronto Aiuto service. The vehicle is intended to enhance the organization's ability to reach and assist families and citizens facing difficult circumstances. Michele Pignatelli, president of the cooperative credit institution, stated that the donation aims to provide tangible support to the community and reinforce the bank's social responsibility efforts.

In Baronissi, a new vehicle has been inaugurated for the Taxi Sociale service as part of the Guaranteed Mobility Project. Developed in collaboration with PMG Italia, the service provides transportation for individuals with disabilities, motor difficulties, and other fragile conditions. The new vehicle replaces a previous one through a free loan agreement, ensuring the service continues without additional costs to the municipality.
