Local sports initiatives expand in Łowicz and Elbląg

Local sports activities are expanding in several Polish regions through community-focused programs. In Łowicz, the Akademia Bzura Łowicz volleyball section is seeing significant growth among young girls. Participants engaged in technical exercises, serving practice, and team-building mini-tournaments as part of the "Aktywny Orlik 2026" program.

In Elbląg, a multi-generational basketball tournament titled "Gramy na Zatorzu" is scheduled for August 11, 2026, at Primary School No. 14. The free event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and community integration, featuring three age categories: children (10–12), youth (13–15), and individuals over 16. Teams will compete in fast-paced matches to 21 points or a 10-minute limit.
