Local sports initiatives launched in Fuengirola and Laguna de Duero

In Fuengirola, the Squash Club Fuengirola and the Department of Sports have announced free squash classes specifically for women. Held every Tuesday from 18:00 to 19:00 at the Elola Complex, the initiative aims to promote female participation in racquet sports following a successful launch last year. The classes will be taught by the Squash Club Fuengirola at the recently remodeled municipal facilities.

In Laguna de Duero, the Sala de Armas de Laguna de Duero is hosting a regional epee ranking tournament this Saturday at the Municipal Sports Center. Organized by the Fencing Federation of Castilla y León, the event features M20, Absolute, and Veteran categories. The tournament serves to promote the newly established local fencing club, which offers monthly free introductory courses to encourage adults in the area to take up the sport.
