Loggos, Greece double homicide investigation uncovers new forensic evidence

Greek prosecutors have received a new forensic report in the double homicide at Loggos, Aigio. The autopsy found no signs of third‑person interference on the 54‑year‑old victim Maria’s body, and DNA analysis did not locate the Italian suspect Marco’s material on either weapon. The mother’s hand injuries were deemed superficial, and there were no defensive wounds on the son Olympios.

Investigators are also examining a phone call in which the mother allegedly told her son, “Με έχουν βάλει να σου κάνω κακό” ("They told me to harm you"), which could indicate motive. The uncovered burial of Olympios’ body and the lack of blood on Marco’s shirt further complicate the case, while the forensic findings point toward the mother’s possible involvement.
