Japan to host major logistics, foodtech, and Taiwanese trade exhibitions in 2026

Various industry exhibitions and technological advancements are scheduled for late 2026 in Japan.

In the logistics sector, the 17th International Logistics Exhibition will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from September 8 to 11, 2026. Mitani Computer plans to showcase ‘W-KEEPER AX’, an AI-powered cloud-based warehouse management system designed to address labor shortages. Additionally, Exedy Corporation will exhibit its ‘EMOVA’ electric assist tagger to reduce the physical burden of transporting heavy goods in manufacturing and logistics environments.

Taiwanese trade initiatives are also expanding in Japan. The Taiwan Trade Center (TAITRA) will host a business matching event in Tokyo on September 18, 2026, featuring approximately 70 manufacturers across categories such as digital products, food, and household goods. Separately, the ‘TAIWAN SELECT’ pavilion will participate in the Osaka International Lifestyle Show from September 9 to 11, 2026, showcasing 50 selected Taiwanese brands to promote design and innovation.

In the agricultural sector, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will host the ‘Agribusiness Creation Fair 2026’ at Tokyo Big Sight from November 11 to 13, 2026. The event focuses on ‘Foodtech x Startups’ and will feature 167 institutions presenting research in AI, IoT, and biotechnology to address global food security and labor issues.
