Industry exhibitions in Japan

Various companies and industry associations are preparing to participate in major exhibitions in Japan, focusing on Taiwanese brand expansion, logistics innovation, and agricultural technology.

At the 2026 Osaka International Lifestyle Show, running from September 9 to 11, the Taiwan Creative Industry International Association will host the ‘TAIWAN SELECT’ pavilion. Featuring 50 selected brands, the showcase aims to transition Taiwanese industry from manufacturing toward brand recognition in categories such as electronics, fashion, and home lifestyle. Additionally, the Taiwan Trade Center (TAITRA) will host a trade fair in Tokyo on September 18, featuring approximately 70 manufacturers specializing in food, digital products, and patent items.

In the logistics sector, the 17th International Logistics Exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight, scheduled for September 8 to 11, 2026, will highlight automation solutions. Mitani Computer intends to launch ‘W-KEEPER AX’, an AI-powered cloud-based warehouse management system, in October 2026. Exedy Corporation will also exhibit its ‘EMOVA’ electric assist tagger, designed to reduce physical strain and labor shortages. SoftBank Robotics is also expected to present new products for its ‘AutoStore’ high-density automated warehouse system.

In the agricultural sector, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will host the ‘Agribusiness Creation Fair 2026’ at Tokyo Big Sight from November 11 to 13. The event will feature 167 institutions presenting research in foodtech, including AI, IoT, and robotics, to address labor challenges and global food security.
