Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid showcases diverse designers

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid is currently showcasing a diverse range of designers and collections. Moisés Nieto opened the sessions at Universidad Nebrija with a collection inspired by Andalusia, utilizing black tones and themes of light and darkness to move beyond traditional folklore.

In a collaborative effort, the Junta de Castilla y León and CEOE Castilla y León are supporting the debut of nine young designers from the region through the ‘Uniendo Moda Castilla y León’ project. This initiative aims to provide professional visibility and market access for new talent such as Nao Sawada, José Luis Carreras, and Karen Herrera.

Other notable participants include Hannibal Laguna, who is celebrating 40 years of his fashion career with a collection focused on fluid fabrics and sophisticated silhouettes, and Alex Rivière, who presented her ‘The Core’ collection, emphasizing ‘silent luxury’ and timeless, structured pieces designed for a sustainable wardrobe.
