London to host free Back to Hogwarts event by HBO Max

Back to Hogwarts Harry Potter series HBO Max London event Platform 9 3/4

HBO Max has announced a free “Back to Hogwarts” fan experience taking place at Old Billingsgate in London on September 1, 2026. The event is designed to celebrate the upcoming HBO original series, “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” which is scheduled for release during the Christmas season.

Attendees can expect interactive activities, photo opportunities, gaming stations, and various giveaways. The experience will feature a highlight on Platform 9 ¾ and may offer a glimpse into the new production. Partners such as Bloomsbury, Audible, and Pottermore Publishing are expected to participate, with offerings including book distributions and free audio downloads.

Tickets for the event will be released in batches via Eventbrite at 11 a.m. BST each day from August 24 through August 28. The celebration is intended to run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
