Long Thanh International Airport construction reaches 80% output value

Construction is progressing on Vietnam’s major international airport project in Dong Nai province. Following a massive relocation effort involving 5,000 households and 17,000 residents, the project has reached approximately 80% of its total output value.

As of July 2026, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) reported that over 7,100 personnel are working on component project 3. Work is currently focused on the passenger terminal, which serves as the heart of the facility. Finishing works such as plastering, waterproofing, painting, and interior installation are underway.

The terminal is designed to handle 100 million passengers and 25 million tons of cargo annually. It will utilize Industry 4.0 technologies, including AI-driven passenger check-in systems, 40 boarding gates, and 72 passport control counters.
