Loreley Beratz viral video sparks social media speculation

A live television interview in Argentina has gone viral after a crew member appeared to vanish from the camera frame. During a broadcast on TN covering the arrival of the training ship Fragata Libertad in Buenos Aires, journalist Guillermo Lobo interviewed Loreley Beratz, a naval lieutenant and dentist.

After concluding the interview, Beratz walked behind the journalist just as the camera panned across the deck. In the resulting footage, she was no longer visible, leading to widespread social media speculation regarding artificial intelligence, video editing, or a ‘glitch in the Matrix’. Media analysts from eltrece confirmed the footage was neither edited nor manipulated by AI.

Beratz later returned to the screen to address the phenomenon with humor, clarifying that she had simply quickened her pace toward the cameraman and the ship's bow, exiting the frame at the exact moment the camera panned.
