Los Angeles Influencer Adva Lavie Arrested After Ankle‑Monitor Violation

Adva Lavie, a 28‑year‑old Los Angeles social‑media influencer also known as Mia Ventura, was taken into custody in Beverly Hills after prosecutors say she removed the ankle monitor she was required to wear while awaiting trial on felony burglary charges. A judge revoked her release, ordered her to be held without bail and set a bail‑review hearing in Van Nys. Lavie also faces an outstanding Riverside County warrant for grand theft, stemming from alleged theft of more than $11,000 in luxury items—including an $8,600 Rolex watch and Louis Vuitton accessories—at the 2025 Coachella Music Festival.

The report additionally noted that the FBI captured Elaine Angene Escoe, a $32 million COVID‑19 fraud suspect, in Jamaica, where she had been living under the alias “Harley Newman.” She was returned to the United States to face charges, with FBI Director Kash Patel highlighting the arrest as part of the agency’s “Most Wanted Fraudster” effort.
