Los Angeles Rams defeat Chargers as Blake Corum receives NFL fine

The Los Angeles Rams secured a 24-9 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium, improving their season record to 4-4. The win marks the first time this season the Rams have won consecutive games. Key performances included running back Blake Corum, who rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown, and Kyren Williams, who also scored a rushing touchdown. Quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 17 of 25 passes for 157 yards and one touchdown.

The Chargers fell to 0-7, marking the first time in franchise history the team has started a season without a win. The loss extended a 10-game losing streak for the Chargers, spanning from the previous season through the playoffs. Justin Herbert threw for 257 yards but recorded two interceptions.

Separately, the NFL announced that Rams running back Blake Corum has been fined $8,733 for unsportsmanlike conduct. The fine stems from a violent gesture made during a Week 7 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Corum was the only Rams player fined in the league's weekly report.
