Los Angeles Rams sign veteran kicker Brandon McManus

The Los Angeles Rams have signed veteran placekicker Brandon McManus to address stability at the position. The move follows a season-ending knee injury to Blake Grupe in Week 6.

McManus, 35, secured the role after a competition following workouts that included veteran Matt Prater. The decision was made by General Manager Les Snead, Assistant GM John McKay, and Special Teams Coordinator Bubba Ventrone. McManus most recently played for the Green Bay Packers, where he recorded an 80 percent field goal conversion rate last season.

Prior to his time with the Packers, McManus played for the Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Commanders. He is a Super Bowl champion and brings significant veteran experience to the Rams' special teams unit.
