Los Llanos de Aridane launches 31 million euro elderly care center tender

The public tender process has begun for the construction of a new elderly residence and day center in Los Llanos de Aridane, La Palma. The project has a tender budget of approximately 31.08 million euros.

The complex is designed to provide 120 residential places and 50 day-stay spots. It will feature eight living units organized in blocks, common areas, medical and rehabilitation spaces, landscaped gardens, and adapted parking with electric charging points. Sergio Rodríguez of Coalición Canaria described the administrative step as a “historic fact for La Palma” that addresses urgent local demands for improved socio-sanitary infrastructure.
