Los Mirlos expand international presence with tour and Lima concert

Peruvian Amazonian cumbia group Los Mirlos is experiencing increased international visibility following their recent Tiny Desk session for NPR Music. The band is currently conducting their América Tour, which includes their latest album, ‘The World Meets Los Mirlos’.

In Argentina, the group performed at Auditorio Oeste in Haedo alongside La Bomba de Tiempo to celebrate the latter's 20th anniversary. Following their international performances, Los Mirlos are scheduled to return to Lima, Peru, for the ‘Tropi Perú: Una Noche con Los Mirlos’ concert. This event will take place on October 24, 2026, at C. C. Maracaná de Jesús María, featuring a four-hour set of tropical cumbia classics and special guests.
