LOT Polish Airlines restores direct Warsaw-Bangkok flights
LOT Polish Airlines has resumed direct scheduled service between Warsaw Chopin Airport and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, marking the return of the route after a 26-year hiatus. The inaugural flight departed on October 7, 2026, utilizing Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
The service initially operates three times per week. Frequency is scheduled to increase during the winter season, reaching six flights per week in each direction starting November 2, 2026. The outbound journey from Warsaw takes approximately 10 hours and 20 minutes, while the return flight from Bangkok takes roughly 11 hours and 15 minutes.
The new route aims to strengthen tourism and business ties between Poland and Thailand. The Tourism Authority of Thailand is supporting the expansion as Polish arrivals to Thailand have shown significant growth. The connection also enhances Warsaw’s role as a transit hub for passengers from Central and Eastern Europe traveling to Asia.
