LOT Polish Airlines resumes Warsaw-Bangkok direct flights

LOT Polish Airlines has resumed direct scheduled flights between Warsaw and Bangkok, marking the return of the route after a 26-year hiatus. The service, operated using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, officially commenced on 7 October 2026, with the inaugural flight arriving at Suvarnabhumi International Airport.

The flight duration is approximately 10 hours and 20 minutes. Initially operating three times per week, the airline plans to increase frequency to five flights per week starting 26 October 2026 through March 2027 to accommodate the winter travel season. This schedule will provide up to 1,260 inbound seats weekly.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has welcomed the service, viewing it as a strategic move to strengthen connections with Central European markets. Thailand anticipates hosting approximately 250,000 tourists from Poland in 2026, and the direct link is expected to facilitate longer stays and increased visitor spending across the country.
