Lottery winners claim major prizes in Southern Vietnam

A man in Ho Chi Minh City won a consolation prize worth 800 million VND after purchasing 16 lottery tickets from a street vendor. The tickets, featuring the number 362977, were part of the Kien Giang draw for the Southern Vietnam lottery on October 4. The winner, a 50-year-old man, reportedly buys 16 tickets with the same number daily as a habit.

Other recent lottery successes in the region include a winner in Tay Ninh who claimed 10 billion VND for five jackpot-winning tickets from the Da Lat draw, and a payout in Ho Chi Minh City involving 28 tickets that won both special prizes and consolation prizes from the Dong Nai draw.
