Lottery activities in Southern Vietnam continue to see significant prize payouts across various regional draws. Earlier reports highlighted a 50-year-old man in Ho Chi Minh City winning 800 million VND from the October 4 Kien Giang draw after purchasing 16 tickets with the same number. Other notable wins included a 10 billion VND payout in Tay Ninh from the Da Lat draw and multiple winning tickets from the Dong Nai draw. In mid-October, significant payouts were recorded in the Southern region. On October 15, 10 people won over 1.2 billion VND from the Bình Thuận station. On October 16, a customer at the Thành Đạt agency in Ho Chi Minh City purchased a block of 160 tickets for the Trà Vinh station, winning a third-prize total of 1.6 billion VND. Additionally, the Vietlott Mega 6/45 jackpot was reported to start at a minimum of 12 billion VND on October 16. Following reports of major wins in the Vinh Long region on October 17, 2026, new details emerged regarding several large jackpots. In Vinh Long province, a woman who purchased six tickets during a gathering distributed them to friends; all six won, with the woman holding two tickets receiving 3.6 billion VND after taxes. In the same province, a man in Tieu Can commune won two jackpot tickets worth 4 billion VND (before tax) purchased from a street vendor. In Ho Chi Minh City, a factory worker secured a 2 billion VND jackpot from the Tay Ninh draw, while another individual won a 200 million VND consolation prize, bringing their combined winnings to 2.2 billion VND. On October 20, 2026, reports from Tay Ninh indicated high-volume winning ticket sales for the Vung Tau draw, including 160 tickets winning eighth prizes and 160 tickets winning seventh prizes.
