Lotto Max jackpot winners share $55 million prize

Forty-nine individuals became millionaires following a Lotto Max draw on August 21, which resulted in a $55 million jackpot. The winners shared the prize through a group play format, where multiple people purchase shares of a single ticket.

The winning group members, representing 12 different regions, gathered at the Loto-Québec headquarters on September 1 to receive their winnings. Notable winners include Ajay Sharma from Laval and François Bissonnette from the Laurentians.
