Lotus Bakeries to invest 500 million euros in global expansion
Lotus Bakeries has announced its largest-ever investment program, pledging at least 500 million euros between 2026 and 2030 to expand global production capacities. The initiative aims to support the growth of its core brand, Biscoff, as the company seeks to become the third-largest biscuit brand in the world.
The investment will target facilities in Mebane, USA; Chonburi, Thailand; and Lembeke, Belgium. The company reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026, with consolidated revenue rising 14.0% to 749.1 million euros and net profit increasing 23.5% to 98.1 million euros. Biscoff volume grew by more than 20% during this period.
Following these results, analysts at Berenberg raised their price targets and profit forecasts for the company. The stock has seen significant growth, rising 67% since the beginning of the year.
