The science fiction thriller ‘Le Dernier Refuge’ (The Last House), directed by Louis Leterrier, has reached the number one spot on Netflix within 48 hours of its release. The film follows an American family in Seattle that becomes trapped inside their home by an inexplicable, invisible force that prevents them from crossing the threshold of doors or windows.

Starring Greta Lee and Wagner Moura, the story focuses on the family's struggle to survive as their resources dwindle and mysterious presences appear to linger outside their confinement.
