Louis Vuitton and Singer Vehicle Design collaborate on custom Porsche 911s
Louis Vuitton has collaborated with California-based Singer Vehicle Design to create two custom Porsche 911 models. The project originated from a client's request for a dashboard clock, which evolved into a comprehensive luxury set.
Singer Vehicle Design rebuilt two 964-generation Porsche 911s using carbon fiber bodies and air-cooled engines. One model is a Classic Coupé with a naturally aspirated engine, and the other is a white Classic Turbo Cabriolet with a biturbo engine. Louis Vuitton designed the vehicle interiors, a series of exclusive luggage, and various lifestyle accessories including custom suitcases, skis, and surfboards. Reports suggest the price for each vehicle is approximately £2.5 million.
The mechanical timepiece for the project was developed by La Fabrique du Temps in a removable Tambour design.
