Louisiana man arrested for alleged sexual abuse of minors in Haiti

Maylon Jesse Foshee, a 23-year-old from Mansfield, Louisiana, has been arrested by the FBI and charged with illicit sexual conduct with minors in a foreign country. The charges stem from an investigation into Foshee’s activities while working with Agape Ministries in Gonaïves, Haiti, between 2023 and 2025.

Federal agents conducted interviews across Haiti and the Dominican Republic, identifying at least three male victims, approximately 14 years old at the time of the alleged abuse. One victim reported being abused while staying at Foshee’s residence.

The FBI investigation began in March following complaints about Foshee’s conduct. Foshee made his initial appearance in federal court in Shreveport, where a judge ordered him to be held pending arraignment.
