Lousada: 15-year-old dies after scooter accident

A 15-year-old boy died following a scooter accident in the parish of Boim, located in Lousada, Porto district. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 PM.

Emergency responders from the Lousada Volunteer Firefighters provided assistance and transported the teenager to the Hospital Padre Américo in Penafiel. Although he was alive during transport and underwent resuscitation efforts, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The local GNR (Guarda Nacional Republicana) has taken charge of the scene, and the specific circumstances surrounding the fall are still being investigated.
