Margaret Qualley stars in romantic drama Love of Your Life
The romantic drama “Love of Your Life,” directed by Rachel Morrison, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Starring Margaret Qualley, the film follows Maya, a nurse in Boston whose life is upended by a whirlwind romance with Charlie (Gabriel Basso) and the subsequent tragedy of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the loss of her partner, the narrative tracks Maya’s journey of grief and self-discovery as she travels through various international locations, including Portugal and England. The film features a supporting cast including Aaron Pierre, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Catherine Keener. Produced by Ryan Gosling’s Open Invite, the film is set to receive a brief theatrical release before its global debut on Prime Video on October 14, 2026.
Critical reception highlights Qualley’s emotional performance and Morrison’s visual storytelling, though some reviewers noted the film’s tendency toward romantic clichés and a condensed narrative structure.
