Lower Silesian Student Scholarships Launched for 2025/26 and 2026/27

The Gmina Kotla administration in Lower Silesia announced a Mayor's Scholarship for the 2025/2026 school year. The grant, aimed at pupils in grades IV‑VIII who reside in the gmina or attend the local primary school, rewards academic excellence (minimum average of 5.0), high‑scoring final exams (at least 90 % of points), or at least third‑place finishes in voivodeship‑level competitions in knowledge or sport. Applications must be submitted to the gmina office by 31 July.

Separately, the International Education Foundation launched the 26th edition of the “zDolny Śląsk” scholarship programme for the 2026/2027 academic year. Funded by the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, the scheme offers roughly 50 scholarships with amounts of 3 500 zł for pupils in grades 4‑6, 4 000 zł for grades 7‑8 and first‑year secondary students, and 4 500 zł for older secondary students. For the first time, applications are completed online, and the deadline is 31 July 2026.
