LPG cylinder prices remain stable across major Indian cities

Major oil marketing companies, including Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum (HPCL), have maintained stable prices for LPG cylinders as of September 17.

In major Indian metropolitan areas, the price for a 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder remains steady. In New Delhi, the price is ₹942.00, while Mumbai is priced at ₹941.50, Kolkata at ₹968.00, and Chennai at ₹957.50. Other regional prices include ₹979.50 in Lucknow, ₹950.50 in Gurugram, and ₹1,023.90 in Patna.

For commercial users, such as restaurants and hotels, the 19 kg blue cylinder in Delhi is priced at approximately ₹2,747.50. Eligible beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) continue to receive a targeted subsidy of ₹300 directly into their bank accounts via DBT.
