Lubelski Czek Turystyczny launches 300 PLN tourism subsidy

The Lubelski Czek Turystyczny program has launched, offering a 300 PLN subsidy for travelers to support local tourism in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. To qualify, travelers must book a stay of at least two nights. The program aims to extend the tourist season through the autumn months and promote border regions.

The total budget for the Lubelskie region is 3 million PLN, split equally between the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and the Lubelskie Voivodeship local government. Funding from the Ministry is specifically designated for seniors over 60 and holders of the Large Family Card. In contrast, the funds provided by the local government are available to all adult Polish citizens.

Registration for accommodation providers began on August 24. The first batch of vouchers is scheduled to be generated on September 2, with subsequent batches planned for October 1 and November 2. The broader ministerial initiative also includes the Warmian-Masurian, Podlaskie, and Podkarpackie voivodeships.
